When an individual is starting a business, they are typically only focused on building their money reserves and replenishing any money that has been spent. When I started my business, I was so focused on monetary acquisition that I made short-term decisions, e.g., rather than focusing on substantial customers that I could partner with and grow my business, I took everything that was thrown at me and did it myself without hiring help, to save money...which only bottle-necked our growth. Guidance at this point would have been invaluable, I'm certain that we missed out on exponential growth opportunities simply because we didn't know any other way to do business.

I am all about business growth, but had I engaged someone like you at the concept of my business I believe that my company growth would have been more substantial, and the pathway to where I am at now would have been far less stressful.

I have recently come to the very CLEAR understanding that anyone that starts a business, should have an exit strategy in place. In retrospect, this sounds like an obvious necessity, but when I was scrambling to figure out how to move forward with a business buyout...I was absolutely lost. I believe your business provides - relationships! I read one time that - You are what you surround yourself with, the author went on to say that if your four closest friends are in real-estate, you will be the fifth - if your four closest friends own construction companies, you'll be the fifth. The point that I am trying to make is, what you are offering is not only beneficial as a guidance tool/resource, it puts like-minded people together. I tend to listen closely when I am around 'experienced' businessmen, It's amazing how much you can learn from the experience of others.
